Bavaria 2025 – Austria Update

Our second update is from the lads’ time in Austria.

Day 5 Grossglockner Loop

Austria’s highest mountain, and over 6000ft of elevation for the riders. It looks like it was a tough one, but the weather looks great and the scenery is amazing!

Day 6 Zell am See To Kitzbuhel

A long, flattish route along the valley before a steep climb up to Kitzbuhel.

Day 7 Kitzbuhel Horn

Coxy just couldn’t resist it. A 7.8 miles, 4000ft climb up to the Kitzbuhel Horn. And all before the lads had had breakfast!

Day 7 Back to Munich

So, that’s the end of the riding for this trip. The lads are travelling to Munich by train today with Dabsy taking the bikes and bags in the van.

They’ll spend this evening in Munich and then travel back to the Boro tomorrow.

I hear they’re booked into one of the famous Bierkellers, so it could get messy!
