Corsica, Jewel of the Med!

We’re off to Corsica! The French island jewel in the Mediterranean sea.

We start and end in Bastia making a circular route around the northern half of the island taking in, Porto, Ajaccio, Corte, L’lle Rousse, and Cap Course.

We’ll be tackling some tough climbs over the central mountains as well as tracking along the beautiful scenic coastal roads.

We’re on the red eye for this one. We set off from the Cora at 1:30 AM this Sunday morning!!! Do we stay in the pub till then and travel tiddly or do we restrain ourselves… all will be revealed…

We have a new member to the group for this one. Kev Barry is making his first trip so good luck to him. He’ll need it too as space in the hire car over there will be limited…

I have a permanent passenger on this trip as poor Spenna bust his collar bone a few weeks back on a training jolly in Majorca, so no riding for him!

This one promises to be spectacular and I for one can’t wait to get going!!! You can follow our adventures on the blog and our Facebook and Twitter pages.

The World Cup starts while we are there and Portugal v Spain next Friday is an obvious highlight. The French play as well while we’re there so… HERE WE GO, HERE WE GO, HERE WE GOOOOOO!!!!…
