North Coast 500Posted on: June 2, 2021, by : DaveB
After the year we’ve all had we can’t wait to get away again.
Our usual haunts in the Alps and Pyrenees are still out of bounds so we’re heading closer to home.
On Sunday June 6th it’s up to Bonny Scotland to tackle the famous North Coast 500 route. Starting in Inverness the route crosses the country to Applecross then up to Durness via Ullapool. From there it’s over to Thurso and John O’Groats and then back down to Inverness.
We’ll be staying in hotels along the route as well as a couple of nights camping but some of the lads are doing the whole thing in a camper van which is a new one for the team. We’ve got some new riders as well and you’ll be introduced to them along the way.
To see how we get on you can follow along on the blog where I’ll be doing the usual daily updates or on our Facebook page where I’ll be adding links to the blog as well as pics throughout the day and evenings. Be sure to like and follow our Facebook page to get the updates.
Here’s an outline of the route:-
