Comment: On the final day we travel from Newcastle to Consett, then Durham and finish the trip at the Transporter Bridge in Middlesbrough a distance of 57 miles.
Middlesbrough is the at the apex of God’s own country, North Yorkshire and home to the legendary Teessiders of the Steel River.
There isn’t anywhere quite like the Boro… best people…best football team… the home of the Parmo and Tetleys Imperial.
Oh and hard… dead HARD!
