Comment: Leaving Bellingham we head on to the Pennine Cycleway through Walk Forest and on to the Hadrians Cycleway to Corbridge.
After Corbridge we follow the Tyne into Newcastle a distance of 55 miles.
Newcastle is home to the Brown Ale, the incomprehensible Geordies, the Coal, the marches to London, Our Friends in the North, When the Boat Comes In, Supermac, Keegan, Bobby Robson, Shearer, Auf Weidersein Pet… etc, etc,
Whatever… you can’t understand them except when they say ‘Ya Fooka Man!’ after every sentence.
